Wenjun Shen obtained her Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science at City University of Hong Kong. She currently holds the position of associate professor at the Department of Bioinformatics of Shantou University Medical College. Her primary research interests include cancer genomics, bioinformatics, and pattern recognition. She has published over 20 papers in high-impact journals such as Foundations of Computational Mathematics, Journal of Experimental & Clinical Cancer Research, Cell Reports Methods, Cancers, Frontiers in Microbiology, Knowledge-Based Systems, and Pattern Recognition.
